Separate owner alerts and caller confirmations
Inbound Booking platform call alerts are optional notifications to business owners and their authorized private recipients. Owners enable Text for a receptionist in setup or the signed-in notification dashboard, enter a mobile number they control, affirm the consent notice, and verify the destination. Account signup, buying a number, and publishing a receptionist do not by themselves enroll a recipient in text alerts. These alerts identify Inbound Booking and link to authenticated call history; they do not contain caller transcripts or promotional offers.
With the optional outbound SMS add-on, owner alerts and caller confirmations use the business’s existing AI number and approved business messaging registration. Purchasing or provisioning a voice number does not approve texting. Each recipient needs permission for the applicable message purpose. This feature does not provide an inbound conversation inbox; automated opt-out, resubscription, HELP and verification messages are still processed.
Owners separately control caller email and text preferences and the eligible events for each receptionist. Newly created receptionists default to offering email for confirmed appointment changes, saved callback or meeting requests, and approved details specifically requested by the caller. The caller may decline. The receptionist reads the email address back and obtains confirmation for the current request. Appointment confirmations are queued only after the calendar confirms the action. A callback receipt confirms only that the request was saved, not that an appointment is booked. General information calls do not generate an automatic follow-up. Private owner summaries are not sent to callers.
Inbound Booking, operated by Buk Capital LLC, supports appointment confirmation messages for businesses using an activated messaging feature. A message concerns the appointment or request made to the business identified in the message. The business remains responsible for the appointment, its services, and the accuracy of the business information it supplies.
The current appointment messaging feature is for requested operational communications. It is not a subscription to promotional texts, a bulk-marketing list, or permission for unrelated businesses to contact you. A business must not add promotional content or use the feature for unsolicited outreach.
Creating an Inbound Booking account does not by itself enroll you or your callers in text messaging. A future change in message purpose will require any additional notice and consent needed for that change.
Permission before texting
Caller texting requires an active paid SMS add-on, an approved business messaging campaign and completed number assignment. The receptionist identifies the business, describes the requested message and provides the applicable consent disclosures before asking for permission and confirming the mobile number. A request-specific consent record is retained. Caller ID, an incoming call, an unrelated verification code or acceptance of the service agreement is not permission to text. A recorded STOP prevents further delivery until the recipient validly resubscribes.
Giving a business your telephone number, calling the business, buying a service, or accepting Inbound Booking's Terms of Service is not blanket permission for automated texts or future marketing. Do not provide another person's number unless you have authority to arrange the requested communication. You can decline texts and discuss appointment details with the business through another available method; agreement to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing a business's services or an Inbound Booking subscription.
Inbound calls and messages sent afterward are separate activities. This policy does not authorize outbound AI calls, promotional calls, or a marketing campaign. Any future outbound feature must satisfy its own legal, disclosure, consent, and provider requirements before use.
Frequency, charges, and delivery
Owner-alert frequency varies with incoming calls to receptionists for which a recipient enabled texts. Message and data rates may apply. Email follow-up frequency follows the eligible appointments and requests the caller confirms. Neither email nor text delivery is guaranteed; a saved appointment is not proof that a confirmation was received.
Message frequency varies with your appointment activity and the business's supported configuration. Your wireless provider's message and data rates may apply. No particular number of messages, transmission speed, or delivery time is guaranteed.
Texts can be delayed, filtered, misdirected, or undelivered because of a disconnected or reassigned number, carrier restrictions, network problems, or another issue. A provider's delivery status is not proof that the intended person read a message. Contact the business directly if an appointment detail is missing or unclear; do not rely on a text for urgent or emergency assistance.
Tell the business if your number changes or is no longer yours. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, government-identification numbers, or sensitive medical information in an ordinary appointment text. Messages may appear on a device's lock screen or be accessible to others using the device.
Stop messages
Reply STOP to the number that sent the owner alert to stop further texts from that business’s messaging program to your mobile number. Turning a dashboard preference back on does not override STOP. You can also turn off an individual receptionist's notifications in the dashboard. Platform owner-alert preferences do not change a caller's separate appointment-text consent.
Reply STOP to the business number that sent the message to stop further appointment texts from that business through this Service. Supported opt-out keywords also include STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, and OPTOUT. An opt-out may result in a single nonpromotional confirmation from the messaging provider.
STOP is a convenient method, not the only way to withdraw permission. You may also contact the business directly or email hello@inboundbooking.com. Identify the mobile number and the business whose messages you want stopped, without sending unrelated sensitive information. We will honor a valid request made by a reasonable method within the period required by applicable law. Customers must promptly act on requests they receive outside the automated text channel.
Stopping texts does not cancel an appointment, close a business account, or cancel a paid subscription. Contact the business about an appointment and use the subscription cancellation methods in the Terms for Inbound Booking billing. An opt-out from one business does not necessarily reach unrelated businesses with their own numbers or systems; identify each affected sender when requesting help.
Resuming appointment texts
For business owner alerts, START or UNSTOP to the sending AI number removes that messaging program’s opt-out for existing verified recipients; it does not add new subscriptions or authorize marketing. Notifications still require an enabled receptionist subscription and an eligible account.
If you previously opted out and want texts from the same business again, send START to that business's messaging number. UNSTOP is also supported. This removes the block; it does not revive canceled requests or enroll you in recurring messages. A new requested follow-up still requires specific permission and an eligible business sender.
A later call, new booking, account login, or ordinary conversation does not by itself override an existing STOP. A business must not remove an opt-out merely because it wants to contact you again. Resuming appointment messages does not authorize unrelated marketing or contact from other businesses.
Get help or report an unexpected message
Reply HELP to the business AI number that sent the text for messaging help, or email hello@inboundbooking.com. The messaging provider may supply the automated reply. For appointment questions, contact the business named in your confirmation. To report an unexpected message or an opt-out that has not been honored, include the sending number, your receiving number, the business name if known, and the approximate date when contacting support.
If you received a message intended for someone else, you can reply STOP and tell us that the number may be incorrect or reassigned. Do not forward sensitive message content unless it is needed to investigate and we have arranged an appropriate method.
Messaging information and policy updates
The Privacy Notice explains how mobile numbers, consent records, appointment details, message content, delivery information, and opt-out records are handled. Telephony and messaging providers process information needed to deliver and manage messages. Consent to receive appointment messages is not permission to sell your number or use it for unrelated advertising.
We may update this policy as messaging features change. Material changes to purpose or consent practices will receive the notice and additional permission required by applicable law. An updated policy does not retroactively supply consent for a message that was not authorized.
